Managing Partners

Keith Dixon

Keith Dixon joined Bruce Lance’s High Wycombe office in 1998 and was made a Partner in 1999. He specialises in business client services, in particular commercial disputes and property. Lease extensions and land valuation tribunals are a speciality and Keith has gained a reputation for protecting tenants from ruthless landlords. He is a Director of the Bucks Housing Association and a governor of a local school.

Andrew Goss

A qualified solicitor since 1995 and a partner at Bruce Lance since 2004, Andrew Goss is a personal injury practitioner handling a large volume of claimant work. His expertise in this area has been recognised with a special accreditation: Andrew has been awarded the title of Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Andrew also specialises in family and matrimonial matters. He is Secretary of the Dorset Regional Branch of Resolution and an accredited specialist in matters concerning finance and children. Previously known as the Solicitors Family Law Association, Resolution is an organisation of family lawyers and other professionals who promote a non-confrontational approach to family law, as well as campaigning for improvements to the family justice system.

Andrew regularly deals with the Office of the Public Guardian and the Court of Protection, and is widely experienced in a range of other work, including conveyancing and general litigation. He has successfully handled a variety of challenging cases for clients, ranging from building disputes to contested probate claims.

Partners

Andrew Hawkins

Andrew Hawkins joined the firm as a Partner in 2007 when George & George Solicitors in High Wycombe, where he previously worked, merged with Bruce Lance. He specialises in all aspects of commercial and residential property, business client services, and wills, trusts and probate.

Claire Lancaster

Claire Lancaster is a Partner at the High Wycombe office and specialises in family law, representing both publicly funded and private clients. Claire, who joined Bruce Lance in 2003, is a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel and an accredited specialist in financial provision and domestic abuse for Resolution. Resolution is a national organisation committed to non‑confrontational divorce, separation and other family problems.

Jenna Lloyd-Willliams

Property lawyer Jenna Lloyd-Williams, who joined Bruce Lance’s High Wycombe office in 2009, qualified as a solicitor in 2012. Specialising in residential conveyancing, Jenna has a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course.

Legal Team

Stephen Gasper

Stephen Gasper joined Bruce Lance in 1977. Based at the High Wycombe office, Stephen specialises in personal injury and has achieved a successful outcome in a number of high-profile cases. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Law Society Personal Injury Panel, and is a trustee of Headway South Bucks, a charity that supports people with brain injuries. Also experienced in general litigation, Stephen acts for insurance companies and defends aviation cases, including helicopter and balloon accident claims.

Stephen is a keen sportsman and says that tennis, which he plays competitively, has much in common with litigation: “The object is to hit the ball into the opponent's court, preferably so that it is not returned. Sometimes you may drop a set but you just have to make sure you win the end rally and the match.”


Kalpana Curl

Kalpana is a wills and probate solicitor who joined Bruce Lance in 2013. Based at the High Wycombe office, Kalpana offers the full range of probate services, including Lasting Powers of Attorney, and can also advise on inheritance tax.

Kalpana hosts an informal coffee morning at 10.30am on the first Wednesday of every month – drop in for a free chat about your will or Lasting Powers of Attorney.


Teresa Williamson

Teresa Williamson is a Legal Executive in the Poole office, where she has worked since April 2008. A Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, Teresa specialises in family law and is a member of Resolution – a body of family lawyers that take a non-confrontational approach to family problems, taking into account the needs of the whole family, especially the children. Teresa is also a specialist in wills and probate matters.

Emma Crowley

Conveyancing Executive Emma Crowley joined Bruce Lance’s Poole office in 2015 and is helping to expand this busy department. Emma’s professional qualifications include Ilex level 6 Conveyancing and Land Law, and an Ilex level 3 Professional Diploma in Law.

Rebecca Bye

Becky is a trainee solicitor and joined the High Wycombe branch of Bruce Lance in February 2015. Becky has an LLB Law degree from the University of Southampton and is currently completing her LPC and LLM at the University of Law, Guildford.

Nicole Harris

Working closely with Jenna Lloyd-Williams in the residential conveyancing department, Nicole Harris joined Bruce Lance’s High Wycombe office in November 2015 as a conveyancing paralegal. Nicole has an LLB Law degree and is currently undertaking the Legal Practice Course part-time in order to qualify as a solicitor.

Arthur George

Arthur George joined Bruce Lance as a consultant in 2007, when the firm merged with George & George Solicitors in High Wycombe, where he had worked since 1964. Arthur specialises in commercial property, acting for developers and private clients. His father, Edward George, is renowned in the legal world for establishing the process that allowed individual flats in England to be bought and sold. Arthur himself is joint author of the seminal work on the subject, ‘The Sale of Flats'.


Eamonn Clifford

Eamonn is an experienced solicitor who joined the firm in 2016 to head up the civil litigation department in our High Wycombe office. His areas of practice include personal injury, landlord and tenant, property disputes between co-owners, building and home improvement disputes, debt collection and contested probate.

Eamonn consistently achieves excellent results for clients and initial consultations are free of charge.

Office management team

Martin Little

Accountant Martin Little has been a member of the Bruce Lance team since February 2011. As chief cashier, Martin is head of the firm’s accounts department, overseeing all payments made in and out.

Mary Ridgley

Mary Ridgley joined Bruce Lance’s Poole office in 1986. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and assists Andrew Goss with personal injury and family matters. Mary is the office manager at Bruce Lance’s Poole office with particular responsibility for the firm’s IT network.

Carol Lancaster

Carol Lancaster, who has 25 years’ experience as a finance manager, joined Bruce Lance in April 2014 as credit controller/debt assistant. Based at our High Wycombe office, Carol is involved in the recovery of debts on behalf of our clients.

Pauline Ellis

Pauline joined Bruce Lance in 2009 and works part-time in our Poole office as accounts assistant.
